OA Digital at the AGI Print

OA Digital spoke at the Association for Geographic Information (AGI) Technical Special Interest Group Open Source event last week, at the British Antarctic Survey HQ in Cambridge. Our presentation was about "Going Open"- Oxford Archaeology's adoption of open standards, open access and open source software.

The event was well attended, with talks on GIS implementations, a roadmap of Open Source components for GIS web services and clients, access and delivery of Polar Satellite Imagery, using Open Source software in operational systems, and the Ordnance Survey's Web Map tools. The talks are all online here, and additional notes for OA Digital's talk can be found here.
